New to Melody?

If you're new to Melody and somehow got to this page by accident, you should most definitely check out the main site at http://openmelody.org. This part of the site is the Contributor Wiki and is targeted towards those already familiar with the software and of a mind to contribute to the core code in some way.

However, if your arrival is not so coincidental, then read on to learn how you can help us achieve our vision of a software project developed and maintained entirely by its community via a process which is inextricably linked to the concepts of transparency and universal inclusiveness and participation, and a community that thrives as a “do-ocracy” in a system where everyone with something to contribute has an equal voice in the future of the project and the software.

Yeah, it excites us too…

So if you've gotten this far, we will assume that you're already very familiar with the Melody FAQ, the Join Open Melody page, the Contribution pages and the blog. Very well, then; carry on.
